Fabric is so soft and lovely to work with.
Do your kids ask you to make something but you don Do your kids ask you to make something but you don't want to because of how it'll look on them? 🙈 The number of times my kid has asked me to make her a skirt.. But she wears it low and I didn't think it's a good look for her so I have stalled for sooo long. I finally realized I needed a different skirt design.. One with a yoke that gives the illusion of her wearing it higher. Fabric is cotton jersey and on early bird sales @seweird_fabric Pattern is loosely based on the @lovenotions Skater Skirt but I added a really wide waistband (probably 2.5"-3"). I think I'll make her some more skirts now 😊

There will always be days where mountains are high There will always be days where mountains are high, but the sun is right around the corner. These days we want everything fast, but hard work is rarely quick to show progress. It is slow, sometimes painful, and testing. There are no shortcuts, we have to climb those mountains to see the sun. God is never far behind. Trust His process. A reminder to myself and to anyone that needs to hear it.
