Going back and forth on straps while sewing seemed Going back and forth on straps while sewing seemed to work when using fabric. But leathers and cork..the less holes you make, the better. So I use the box method within the seam allowance to secure them.

There is always more to learn! Perfection used to bog me down and I would sit on a task because I didn't think I could make it perfectly. But then I realized I would never get better if I don't PRACTICE. I realized the end goal was to get BETTER not perfect. I take on more challenges now, and procrastinate less because I am scared to mess up. 🔸 So tell me.. are you a perfectionist and does it hinder you in what you want to do? 📷 I used to be scared of welt pockets and zipper pockets but now after doing so many in the past few months, they are so much easier and I mess up less 🤪 👜 made for @poppinloom using grape leather!
