Do your kids ask you to make something but you don Do your kids ask you to make something but you don't want to because of how it'll look on them? ๐Ÿ™ˆ The number of times my kid has asked me to make her a skirt.. But she wears it low and I didn't think it's a good look for her so I have stalled for sooo long. I finally realized I needed a different skirt design.. One with a yoke that gives the illusion of her wearing it higher. Fabric is cotton jersey and on early bird sales @seweird_fabric Pattern is loosely based on the @lovenotions Skater Skirt but I added a really wide waistband (probably 2.5"-3"). I think I'll make her some more skirts now ๐Ÿ˜Š

So I will be sharing certain things that are both easy to implement and dont take a lot of effort. I hope I inspire you to make small changes to your daily life to have a more sustainable living.

Practice does NOT make perfect. It makes you do be Practice does NOT make perfect. It makes you do better. Whether it's becoming more efficient or becoming more skillful. There is always more to learn! Perfection used to bog me down and I would sit on a task because I didn't think I could make it perfectly. But then I realized I would never get better if I don't PRACTICE. I realized the end goal was to get BETTER not perfect. I take on more challenges now, and procrastinate less because I am scared to mess up. ๐Ÿ”ธ So tell me.. are you a perfectionist and does it hinder you in what you want to do? ๐Ÿ“ท I used to be scared of welt pockets and zipper pockets but now after doing so many in the past few months, they are so much easier and I mess up less ๐Ÿคช ๐Ÿ‘œ made for @poppinloom using grape leather!
